so… if a child is separated (for whatever reasons) from mother…is it necessarily worse than being separated from teh father??

Both parents provide different forms of love, support, care, comfort, and security. And each mother and father is different. I think it is silly to make these sorts of comparisons.

I think both parents have an equally important role in the upbringing of the child - neither should be deprived of their child or their child of them.
Its unfair when women brain wash their kids into thinking their fathers are evil for their own personal motives. Its equally horrible when a man does it.

I agree......it does look silly when you 'compare' the both.............. but i come across the disparity when the topics are being discussed separately..... i.e discussion on father taking custody and discussions on mother taking custody...

I was actually going to open a thread to educate people on this forum on how custody actually works in the legal world, but then I couldn't be bothered.

Unfortunately, with certain people, I don't think it will make a difference. They will justify their views using culture/religion regardless of being told what the reality is in the legal world.

well i can see your dilemma - you can write pages on the legal nuances of the custody process, but it is all trumped by the "but i saved my kids from being kafirs" argument of ann coulter's phd thesis.
