BREAKING NEWS: Chief of General Staff dies in road accident

ISLAMABAD: Chief of the General Staff of the Pakistan Army and a close aid of President General Parvez Musharraf, Lt. General Ghulam Ahmed was killed in a road accident on Friday.
The late general was driving his car on his way to Islamabad from Talagang in Chakwal district, when he met with an accident which proved fatal. His body was flown in the evening to Dera Ismail Khan, where he will be buried on Saturday.
He never believed in protocol despite being Chief of Staff, and he was driving his car when the tragic accident took place," said a senior official. His military colleagues and senior civil officials and those working in the Chief Executive Secretariat received the news of the death of Lt-Gen GA with deep grief and sorrow.
