this question might sounds silly but just came into my mind so asking
chicken lays eggs and if chicken sits on those egg for limited time so baby etc..

Murgha part comes before the chicken actually lays the egg. The egg in the case of chickens is actually something which contains the developing foetus. It is not like women where egg means a germline cell which will fuse with a sperm. Egg in chickens means an enclosed shell which contains the foetus in liquid. Just like babies in gestation are enclosed in placental fluid.
