Anybody have a good recipe for chicken wings…buffalo style?
The only one that I know of is to dredge wings slightly with flour and deep fry…then add to a mix of hot sauce and butter. But that doesn’t have a baked in taste…i might as well just use hot sauce for dipping fried chicken…not the same as Buffalo wings…grr
HelP!!! I have 20 wings in my freezer and plan to make them this weekend.
I wish I had checked this thread earlier, but all you need to do is broil the wings in the oven until cooked through (the longer you cook, the crispier they will be). Then when you take them out, dredge them in Buffalo wing sauce (Frank's buffalo wing sauce is one good one--there are other brands as well--check the grocery aisle where they keep the hot sauce, mustard and ketchup). Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing.
I was looking for the recipe that I made a few months ago, they turned out great. but couldnt find that page, I will check if I had printed or written that recipe somewhere and will let you know
The way I ended up making them is to add salt/papper to some flour. I dredged the wings in the flour and fried quickly. Then I dipped them in a mix of hot sauce & butter and baked in oven about 10 minutes to get the flavor soaked. They were ok, still not the kind they make in the restaurants :(
