Can someone pleaseeeeeeeee give me good recipe for keema and chicken filling for puff pastry samosas.
Re: chicken samosas
Oh its easy. Boil your chicken and shred it. Saute it in a slightly greased pan. Season with salt, black pepper and a lit bit of ground garam masala. Optionally you can put in finely chopped capsicum too.
Re: chicken samosas
jalpari90 thank you for the recipe.. should i use the same method for the keema?
Re: chicken samosas
If you are using beef keema, you need to be careful for the smell. Crush a good quantity of garlic and mix in the qeema. Leave for about ten minutes and wash away using a stainer. Then grease the oil slightly and saute qeema on low flame. Add ginger garlic paste. Keep stirring on low flame. The purpose of low flame is to fry qeema without making it hard. Put in whole garam masala except zeera, half cup of water, cover and let cook. After 10 minutes, Put in finely chopped onion, red chili, zeera, and a little bit of garam masala. Mix well and cook till water dries. T hen mix in chopped coriander. Your filling is ready.
I use chicken mince.
Boil chicken mince with peppercorns, 3-4 cloves or garlic and zeera (whole) then saute finely chopped onions in oil till they're transparent. Add the mince and zeera powder, chilli powder and salt, turmeric. I add a bunch of parsley when the mixture is slightly cool.
