Chicken salan with garevi?

Hello everyone and Eid Mubarak! : )

Can you pls share some recipes of chicken salan with garevi?? I make it with 3 to 4 different recipes but I don’t like the taste much.. or perhaps it don’t turn out quite well.. my family don’t likes other chicken salans.. like karahi or anything like it.. so can you pls help me out?

What do you mean chicken with garevi (gravy?) Do you mean like chicken jalfrezi?

Waleeja, Chicken Salan is with gravy anyway (salan is gravy), is not it?

do you mean shorba?? Just add water and you will have a chicken with gravy (if you mean shorba)!!

Why don't you try making Chicken Korma? It has alot of shorba in it and tastes great.

smoky chicken:

1pao dahi usi degchi main daalo jis me pakana
hai, choolhay pe rakh ke mat daalna, slab pe
rakhna abhi isay charhana nahin hai, achha ab jo
ingredients jitni tadaad main main likh rahi hun
wo sab daaltay jao,
1 pao dahi
1-1/2 teaspoon kuti laal mirach
1/4 teaspoon haldi,
1 light teaspoon namak,
1tablespoon sirka (vinegar)
2hari mirchen, 5big lehsan k jaway aur 1 tomato
sath main grind ker lo uska paste,
zeera 1teaspoon, sabut dhanya 1teaspoon inko sath
grind karlo achi tarha powder bana lo, yeh bhi..
2table spoon soya sauce,
agar mustard paste ho to wo 1teaspoon verna koi
baat nahin,
zarday ka rang jo chawalo p dalta hai wo,
2pinches... yani 2chutki ke barabar...
1teaspoon bhara hoa chaat masalah..
3 longen
5 gol kaali mirach
2 bari elaaichi kaat ke
in sab ka acha sa paste bana lo aur ab isme
murghi daal do taqreeban 1 kilogram...ab isme
half se thora kam cup oil daaldo aur choolhay pa
halki se thoriiiiiiiiii si zada, (yani darmiyani
se kam hi ho) aanch pe rakh do, aur aadhay ghanty
kaliye bhooljao... please aanch zara bhi tez na
ho...verna khana lag sakta hi... agar khana
lagnay ki smell aaye to please chech kerlena!
achha aik taraf pehlay se aik small koela
stove pe rakh dena... achha khasa dehek jaae.
aur haan, chicken main water daalnay ki wese to
bilkul zarurat nahin kyunke, dahi, timatar aur
murghi itself bohat pani chortay hain, BUT khana
charhaanay ke 10minutes baad aik nazar dekh lena
ke paani chor rahi hai ya nahin, aapko khud pata
chaljayega bilkul esa feel hoga jese aap ne pani
daala ho...aur agar pani na choray to 1cup meetha
pani daal dena....magar i dont think ka zaroorat

agar aapko lagay ke murghi bohat gal chuki but
degchi main paani abhi tak hai to dhakkan hata ke
tez aanch ker ke bhoontay rehna, saara pani
khatam hojayega..ya garevi rakhni hoto rakhlena..

aakhir main tez aanch kerke itna pakana ke masala
botiyo se laga hoa nazar aaya,ya as u wish...but bhuna hoa zada mazay ka lagta hai ye...
achha jab murghi bhi gal jae aur pani bhi khatam
hojaye tab aik roti ka tukra beech main rakhna,
uspe chimtay se wo koela rakhna, aur aik bhara
hoa achha khasa tablespoon ya tablespoon se thora
(thora, zada nahin) bara wala spoon oil us koele
p daal dena aur FORAN FORAN FORAN se handiya ko
kaske say band kerdena, usme se jo bhi dhuuwwan
niklay usay handiya se baahar naa aanay dena bus
uski smell rach bansnay dena handiya main, ab dus
minute baad naan ke sath ya tandoori roti ke
saath serve kerdena..! dish is ready..... :biggthumb

Okay okay well yes.. i meant chicken salan.. not exactly shorba but somewhat like qorma.. @Shay can you share your recipe of Qorma? and TLK what's tofu biryani? :s hearing for the first time..
