Re: chicken paulow, and death by chocolate recipes needed
i LOVE pulao. i rather have pulao than biryani :D
you gotta have your yakhni or broth. basically what you do is you slightly fry the chicken in a little bit of oil, so it turns golden brown all over. then you pour in enough water to not only to cook the chicken, but also to have enough broth for the rice to cook in.
meanwhile, finely chop up onion, and fry it until it's brown. then add in salt, some cinammon sticks, some cloves, some zeera and black pepper. kari patta in my opinion is optional, since i don't like it in chicken pulao. fry it up a little bit, then add your broth. let it soak up all the color of the onions. then add your rice, and chicken. cook as normal :D

It is better you make mutton pulao!
Here's the receipie:
Broth
Mutton 1 kg
Corriander see 4 tablespoon
Saunaf 4 tablespoon
Onion one thinly sliced
Garlic one whole
Water About 6-8 glasses
Salt to taste
Put saunf and corriander seeds in a bag and boil the whole stuff on low heat till meat is tender. The water in it dies up leaving only 3-4 glasses. Squeeze the garlic into the broth and throw away it.
Pulao cooking
Take out the water from broth.
Rice 1 Kg Soak in cold water for about 30 minutes
The water when you cook the rice, should about twice the rice i.e if one kg rice makes 4 glasses, then water should be 7 glasses. Soak it in 4 glasses of water after washing. (Use the 3 remaining glasses of water from broth when you cook rice).
Fry one thinly sliced onion in cup of oil.
Take out the onion.
Now put 1 tablespoon of garam masala (sabut)
after frying for few minutes, add one tablespoon of ginger/garlic paste
Add boiled meat. Add few rocket chillies. Then put the rice. Add salt for rice.
Simmer for about 5 mins when rice are about to be cooked. Add khewra and zarda colour.

Amani…death by chocolate is very tasty but only if you are a chocolate lover!
anyway…thanks guys! I made the chicken pulao… turned out really good this time. I added diced jalepeno peppers to the fried onions and it gave it a really good taste.

i don’t even know what that is
and if you can’t make pulao it just means “tumharay hathon main maza nahin hai :p”
umm as for adding stuff i guess you can add the usual spices…ie the pepper and cinammon and stuff. and a full onion, peeled and cut into like 4 pieces.
ohhh if you wanna make pulao spicy, while cooking, before boiling the rice just add like solid red peppers. that way you just need dahi to enjoy it but i rather have the rich yakhni taste
Re: chicken paulow, and death by chocolate recipes needed
there are different variations…so perhaps one can put chocolate chips in it.
The one that I plan on trying however (i still dont have an exact recipe for it as of yet) uses layers of german chocolate cake, chocolate syrup, whip cream, and crumbled bits of chocolate tofee bars. It’s absolutely divine
