Sometimes , the cooked chicken stays reddish from inside , Although its cooked perfectly and tastes well , but what gives it that reddish look as opposed to the perfect white look?
You mean near the bone?
If all the flesh is white, that means its cooked. If any of the flesh on the inside is red, its not cooked.
If its the bone that has red marks on it, that means its frozen stuff... fresh chicken rarely does that.
Just my observation.
Lets see what others havta say.
Re: Chicken issues
Any redness and it's probably not cooked. Cooking throughout with a high flame used to make my chicken like that before but now i sear on high, and finish cooking on medium-low. Have faced that issue maybe 1 or 2x since then. And even then it's usually the oddball red strand in the chicken breast, which i don't think has to do with rawness but something else.
Re: Chicken issues
Khawa, not near the bone , just generally as well , the meat is reddish instead of being white .
Its not gone off, tastes well and fully cooked .
I dont know what the issue can be , but have a question is it may be something to do with non halal meat being sold as halal? Like iff the blood hasnt fully drained out of the chicken then the meat will be reddish?
Re: Chicken issues
I see this when im cooking frozen chicken only
