I use pre-pealed tomatoes. (Healthier and quicker to cook with!)
Masalay vagera. Nothing is measured. All to “what looks right”
Mix mix mix. Add a little water (if needed, as tomatoes will give off water)
Add in chicken (or what ever meat you prefer) and mix mix mix again.
When chicken is done, and curry vagera is done, remove extra oil. (There will be A LOT more than you started with.)
Layer salan between two layers of rice and set for “dum”.
After about 15-20 mins, remove from heat and slowly and very gently mix the rice with the salan.
Plate with raita/ dhai balle and what not, and serve.
