Chicken Biryani

I want to make biryani from boneless chicken. Usually the chicken tends to be dry every time i make it… any ideas to prevent chicken from drying? and keeping it moist?

Thanks
Sana

Re: Chicken Biryani

u read my mind...this morning i was wondering the same thing. I can tell u one thing....it will nvr be the same because the bone is what gives it flavor.

I'm looking forward to reading some comments in this thread...if there is a way to make it...id like to know.

Re: Chicken Biryani

Marinate the chicken breast overnight in yogurt. It will help soften it. Alternatively, remove the bone from chicken thighs instead. It will be much more moist and have better flavor.

Re: Chicken Biryani

yes i agree with amana's suggestion
also if ure using boneless chicken, id advice u to try makin kacchey gosht/ hyderabadi style biryani
this requires overnight marination of the chicken n renders it softened and well flavored
if u cook it regular style with tomatoes/yoghurt i think it'll dry up... as in the chicken w/o the bones will suck up the liquid content instead of releasing it...
giv a shot to the hyderabadi style biryani n let us know how it came out :)
g'luckkkkkk!!!

Re: Chicken Biryani

amna is right u can marinate it and then u can also cook it and make small pieces of breast about 2 inch size .I make it that way and it doesn't get tat dry.

Re: Chicken Biryani
