Job Description: HDF Operations Director
HDF (Human Development Foundation) is a non-profit organization with grass roots support in all the major cities of North America. Since its inception in 1997, HDF has made great improvement in the lives of impoverished communities in its project areas.
HDF is widely recognized in the human development communities as a pioneering organization with tangible results that have lifted communities out of illiteracy, malnutrition, poverty.
To grow and expand HDF, we are looking for a detail oriented high performer who will bring operational excellence to streamline all Scaumburg, IL office organizational functions. This position reports to HDF co-chairs.
Responsibilities
· Drive a complete implementation of donor management software to deliver donor retention capability and future donor base extension. Deploy donor management software to craft new methods to increase donations.
· Drive operational budget process to ensure that resource allocations are aligned with organizational priorities.
· Co-ordinate with financial consultants, accountants, and auditors to provide them with all necessary documents for the U.S. and Pakistan to ensure that HDF meets all legal and regulatory reporting obligations on a timely basis.
· Regularly review internal processes and policies to ensure ongoing compliance. Establish a practice and culture of continuous improvement.
· Configure and align HDF Chicago office organization to achieve integration, cooperation and effectiveness.
· Mentor, guide, train, and coach staff in Chicago office to deliver superior performance
· Craft, evaluate, and track all contractual agreements. Ensure administrative and legal obligations for HDF are met on time.
· Provide regular result centric reports to Co-Chairs and the Board of Directors.
· Manage and drive web based donations via high quality web content
· Articulate HDF at public events and act as the external voice of HDF.
Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelors degree, with at least 5-7 years of high performance work experience.
Non-profit experience will make you succeed massively.
