Some chicago area mosques in coordination with ICNA have undertaken the launch of a campaign to promote Islam through banners displayed on Chicago public transportation system that is a mode of transportation for many each day. CTA buses are currently running the ads, and i’m not certain if there are similar plans for the rapid transit train system as well.

Here are two pictures, and i must say it was such a pleasing sight to see such an effort taking place. mashaAllah, and bravo to the organizers of this idea.

I saw it, they had flyers at the IC here for people to donate and they can get the ads up there on the buses.

Also in NY subways, I have seen online... good stuff.
