Re: chicago 14 august celebrations
The parade/floats usually start from close to Damen Avenue and Devon Avenue (I believe they start at or close to 11am, i’m not sure though). They proceed down Devon Avenue and turn right onto Western Avenue ending at Warren Park which is located at Pratt Avenue and Western Avenue.
It is at the park that festivities are held such as Staged music programs, food stalls, etc..etc..
You will find plenty to do on Devon Avenue as a whole the entire day late into night.
Worth going? Not sure, only passed through there. Didn’t stay to find out how it is ![]()
It is always fun to see your fellow Pakistani ... No matter how bore or interesting the activities but atleast we all should meet to network
