Are you talking about like a CHI straightener? I have that and it heats up really quick and gets really hot and works VERY well. I loveeee it. And it makes your hair shiney. =] A really good investment.

yes... i have been using it for 3 years now and it is amazing!
still working in top condition
it is the hottest flat iron around so if u have very fine hair then obviously it is not suitable
if your hair are thick then it shud work just fine
the first time i straightened my hair the effect was simply AMAZING .... i cant even describe it in words
i was using other ones before and nothing else comes even close.... well unless i get my hair done from the salon
even last year my sister was looking for them and there is nothing else that matches the level of Chi straightener.... at least in Canada... i don't know abt the US
only downside is that if u use it too frequently then your hair will dry out and may cause split ends ... i have seen girls with a crazy amount of split ends who overuse their straighteners
also plz dont ever use on wet hair! it'll fry your hair! i had a roomate in university who did that and the damage is permanent :)

I was talking about **Chi Transformation NOT **chi straightner. Here in my area there is fantastic same which offer chi transformation as a permenent straightening.
