when you had it done before did it help ur scars, plz tell me detail what and how chemical peel does ???? i want to get one alsooo.... and how much does it usually cost ?? i have ance scars and tryin to get rid of them, did anyone tried medrema does it work.....????

chemcal peel should b done only by cosmetologist and as far as i hv information it is just deep cleasing.

dont do it unless u really trust the person. i no sum1 who had it dun now there face is really really sensitive.

I also have a few acne scars, and my dermatologist told me that chemical peeling does NOT work if the scars are deep...and mine are deep...:(

Also I was told that chemical peeling can cause pigmentation...so be careful! and ask your doctor all such questions before going for it...

As far as I know chemical peels should help with the pigmentation.
For acne scars you would need a few of those. Some spas offer a
discount if you buy a series. Consult with a spa near you.

yea i went for a consultation -LCI specifically -- cost approx 300 dollars and she told me ill have a mild chemical peel done

i havent told them i would get it done yet because im still researching about it---its taking off one layer of ur skin--causing it to be more sensitive and the fact taht my skin is already soo sensitive im scared.
it doesnt prevent acne in the future either so i dunno n e more...plus i have to be extra careful about going in the sun cause i can get burned easily.
But she told me that i woul dhave to have 3 sessions done for it --and it takes a couple of weeks for the whole process to be done..
a friend of mine did it and her skin was amazing
im just unsure of the risks and for the future benefits of it---for $300! ahhhh im not sureee

And I read somewhere that one should avoid sun for a period of at least 6 months after a session of chemical peeling...something I cant do...:|
