Definitely go to a dermatologist and whatever you do...wear sunscreen!!!!!!!!!
If you decide to do a peel, you cannot go without sunscreen otherwise a peel will do you no good. Your skin might be in an even worse state if you get sun damage so remember this. I know we all hate sunscreen because its soooo white but here is how I use it.
Get the sunscreen by Clinique, its a lot less white-ish looking and mix it with your foundation. Even if there is a very slight white caste...you will be fine in a few minutes. It blends right in.
