Dont you think so? especially if you are about 25-35 with some experience. There are loads of jobs out there if you have some experience especially oil and gas sector. Expect to be laughing even louder in about 10-15 years time where the majority of the work force will retire as most chemical engineers in industry/consultancies are in their 50’s 60’s and there will be a big shortage..
