so sad. May Allah grant her highest place Jannatul firdous. I heard that Farrah Jahazeb is also battling breast cancer. This is an awful disease and afflicts many women in all walks to life. May Allah (Swt) have mercy and rehman on all of us.
I took a cooking class with her once. Girls from all over the town used to go to her just to learn hands on from her. She was a beautiful person. Had traveled almost all over the world to learn about food & different cuisines. A very knowledgeable woman yet no arrogance. Had this motherly aura.
Definitely will miss her. I used to watch her shows and learned many things from her. It's strange to know she didn't have any kids because once in her show a child called who claimed to be her grandson.
inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raaje'oon. May Allah grant her janna and strength to the loved ones to bear the pain. aameen
i hear more and more women dying of breast cancer. in our countries, women are NOT given regular breast examination/screening/education to detect/catch cancer earlier is really the reason behind the high death rate. i hope women back home will receive basic education/awareness to combat this menace.
