I pre-bake the crust (make it with crushed graham crackers, crushed almonds, a dash of cinnamon and butter) for 15 minutes. Let it cool then add the cream cheese mixture and bake the cake. Also, after baking the cake, I let it cool in the oven for an hour with the door open to prevent the top of the cheesecake from cracking.
Works for me.
