Why what is wrong with Ritz crackers? I like them, they are flaky!!! I have had some gourmet crackers, but they don't all taste that great. I loveee spicy cheeses that I have tried on some cheese platters...yumm.
On the cheese platter also serve wedges of melon, grapes...etc...slices of green apple, goes well with some cheeses.

ooh another question. I never tried it, but anyone ever tried that bottled cheese in supermarkets, the bottle looks like whip cream bottle, but it has some cheese spread in it? Seems like it'd be gross fake cheese...hmm

Ritz crackers may be flakey, but they ARE NOT RIGHT FOR CHEESE! It is an unspoken law in the world of cheese and crackeryness. Please do not break the code.
I agree with you, GREEN APPLES and grapes go well with cheese board, as does celery.
Not sure about melon tho, never had with C&C but RV's pix included them, so they r probably a popular choice.
