What is difference between what cheerleaders do and what strippers do? Is it just different places and audiences, a matter of definition and perception, or something else?

cheerleading is a soft form of more widely accepted stripping
cheerleaders wear stripped down version of what strippers usually wear...so that cheerleaders dont have to strip no more.
