why, in the games in West, young females are expected to cheer lead. I know later on, some exceptional instances have been created in which young men cheer lead, but they did not cheer lead women’s games? what is it supposed to do - make the team win? is not fans’ hoot enough for that?
Or is it so that a special drama of implied female entertainment is welcomed (mostly by men in their teens and later ages) and is working here? Why do’nt the societies see a problem with it?
do we see sexism in the very evidence of cheer-leading by females?
