Hi

im 6 months into my pregnancy…and i wanted to ask already mum to bees…

  1. what are the essentials i need to take in the hospital with me? like towels?? extra clothes?? etc??

  2. do u take your husband in or out with you? who went with you at your time?

  3. also what are the things you need to buy for the baby - again the essentials? ive already bought a pram and a play gym, thats about it…

I would defo’ take my Hubby with me!

For the baby - besides pram etc you need infant car seat, muslin squares, baby clothes eg all in one baby-gro/ sleep suits, baby blanket, nappies, wet wipes, nappy bags, baby socks, baby mittens, baby nail cutter (my neices and nephews had long nails when they were born!), baby hat, baby jacket (if you live in UK where it’s still cold!)

To take to the hospital

For the baby
-All in ones Gros (about 3 shud do)
-Baby vests (if its cold where u are)
- Blanket
-nappies
wipes
towel
baby bathing products
outfit to bring baby home in
baby coat if its cold
car seat (in the UK u have to have a car seat to take baby home in

for urself
-towel
maternity pads
nursing pads
nursing bra
change of underwear
change of clothes (2 suits will do)
nite wear
hair band (for labour, keeps hair back)
some make up (ull want to look good for the pix :)

think thats all i took
