I heard that this company called nav4all is offering free navigation system on some 50 different phone models (siemens, nokia, sony, Samsung) in various countries around the world! The GPS system recognises location at the moment, u fill in the address of destination and it calculates ur route. Then u can follow the map or the spoken instruction to get to ur destination. The spoken instructions are available in different languages and voices.
I am not sure if they are offering maps in Pakistan but if u plan to travel abroad then its the perfect tool, easy to use and FREE

The GPS unit is something you need to navigate. So yes, the SOFTWARE is free. All you have to do is buy a GPS receiver but thats upto you where you would like to buy it.
So just register download an voila, up and running.

yup it is free. i went to spain this week and i tried to use this software it a while to load up in the beginning but after that it was prett easy and quick to get the directions and maps. its pretty interesting because it tells u the most popular tourist attractions and name and phone numbers of nearby hotels and resturants.......
