nope, u got it all wrong.

winxp is just my primary OS. I got a couple dozen vmware virtual machines for all kinds of combinations. you name it and I got it.

win98/winme/win2k WS/ win2k Server/winxp-home/winxp-pro

multiple versions of each of the above (i.e. one for java env, one for .net env and one for VS-6, one for a basic end user OS with no dev tools, the server VM with IIS/Exchange Server etc.)

For linux I got VMs for Mandrake/Mandriva/Suse/Fedora. I am pretty new to Linux world though and it took me forever to get the OSs up and running on these VMs.

there is a reason I have 3gb RAM and even with 3 gigs of RAM, I can only run 4 VMs at a time. VMs rule but they are big time memory hungry. My VMs occupy more than 300 GB HD space.
