So we all have our unique (maybe crazy too) ways of saving money, especially students and others trying to get by now with the recession. Do you or anyone else you know take crazy measures to save money? What’s the funniest/weirdest thing you’ve done to save money?
I know someone who started eating nothing but leftovers even when they were already 3 or 4 days old. Then he moved on to limiting his daily food to mcdonald’s dollar menu and those cheap 7 for a dollar soup cups. He claims he’s stopped taking showers daily in order to save on his water bill and once a week he’ll “accidentally” fall asleep at a friend’s house to get that extra meal and shower.
Another I know broke up with his girlfriend. LoL. He says she’s an “expensive habit to maintain”. I guess that about says it all.
