Re: Cheap Textbooks

half.com is pretty good... used it a couple of times myself.

Others are:

campusbooks.com

abebooks.com

ecampus.com

campusbookswap.org

Re: Cheap Textbooks

Amazon.com
I like it better then half.com

Re: Cheap Textbooks

I bought a ton of books from half.com ... shipping to Canada aside, the cost of the book was between 25-50% of the original price, and even after shipping+tax charges, it was within 50-75% of the price on the campus bookstore. For US, shipping it will be way cheaper...

Umar has given excellent links too... I'd suggest you check them out.

Re: Cheap Textbooks

i have bought books(all kinds of 'em,text books, cook books ,classics etc...) many times from both half.com and amazon....
so far i have never had any problems and i always got what i ordered...and that too at a fraction of the book store price...

try this cheapestbookprice.com.....u can search for whatever book u r looking for and it gives u a comparison of all the available prices and S&H charges...

Re: Cheap Textbooks

I've used amazon.com.. bought a book for $20 then sold it to my school bookstore for $40... 20$ profit :)
the bookstore was selling it for 80

Re: Cheap Textbooks

Use addall.com. It searches almost all the online bookstores for you and lists them by cheapest total price. I have used half.com quite often and it usually is the cheapest, but not always. With addall.com, you won't have to search multiple stores.

Re: Cheap Textbooks

Yes, I've tried half.com. First time using them and I loved it! Regular price for those 2 books on campus would be a good $300. From half.com I got both books for a total of $75!(includes tax and shipping) I chose the regular shipping method and I got my books in 5 days(both were in-state) and they were in brand new condition.
