I love love love a product that works. (delivers on the promise).
I love it even more when it’s less than $10.
So here goes two reviews:
**Neutrogena Sunblock: **
My friend R has been using this since she was 18. I kid you not - we use to make fun of her in college because sometimes it’s hard to blend this stuff (it’s thick) on the face and neck and she use to have some left over. But look who’s laughing now. Her skin looks flawless like a baby’s :paci:
Not a single sun spot, not a single crease - not even a blemish.
She uses this stuff religiously and nothing else.
Her sister uses much pricer stuff and it’s obviously.. she is the smart shopper here.
**Revlon ColorStay Mineral Mousse Makeup with SPF 20. **
My husband went to CVS for a prescription and got me this.
I was like - what are you doing?
First of all? Revlon - you can’t be serious? I used to use this stuff in early high school.
… And you need to match the shade,
… And I use this pricey stuff on my face
… And and was there a pretty lady selling this stuff?
After giving him so many excuses.
He said - no - it was on sale and just try it - otherwise just toss it.
Okay so I tried it. I got so many compliments. I think it’s an excellent product. Covers really nicely witout the oily feel, almost like a lose powder and gives a glow to my face. I have used most of the little bottle but I was pleasnetly surprised how good this product was.
I seriously think Bourjois blushes deliver , they care cheaper and totally do the job … stay longer and fresher on the skin and easy to build up color with them:@: …and they are cheaper then many other brands in the market :hinna:
i have really bad dry skin (could be eczema) at the corners of my eye..im forever itching it which makes my eye red. I apply a hint of vaseline as a moisturizer and its great.
sometimes i would put it on my face if its really really dry.
Alhumdulillah, i have good skin - everyone is saying its always glowing.
I will try the Revlon mousse you suggested.
I love Covergirl mascara....the big orange one. its really good.
I was about to post Vaseline!!! I’m with Gina and Afshi on this one!
It is an excellent moisturizer and my dermatologist even says it is the BEST one out there… much better than even the most expensive priced one …
I have extremely dry skin and was forever itching…I dont know why It recently got this way this past year and I used so many products hoping it would go away… but nothing helped until the dermatologist told me to peace out everything and use vaseline. He told me to use it just like a normal moisturizer… a tiny amount goes a really long way.
I use it on my arms… legs..body… feet… and voila. Itchiness and dryness completely gone. My skin looks so healthy mA. People always comment on it.
And even before the derm recommended it, I have been been using vaseline to moisturize around the corners of my eyes, above my lip, and my forehead. My nani told me to do this … she has been doing this since she was a young girl and guys … seriously the woman has like no wrinkles and she is like 70s!!!
I even got more determined when Tyra banks says she uses vaseline on her face before she goes to sleep because HER mom did this and she has no wrinkles!
So cheap… and so good…
I use Equate brand actually… it smells REALLY good!!!
I am addicted to eyeliner and have tried a million brands through the years… both designer and drugstore brand.
This eyeliner is by far the best pencil liner I have ever come across! It goes on very smooth and extremely DARK DARK BLACK. It is like the darkest black ever. I am always asked what eyeliner I use and am constantly complimented on it.
This brand is a “Kali” brand so it makes me think mabey that is why it is so heavily pigmented??
It’s $2.99 … which is on the extremely cheap end of even drugstore brands.
^ Hey farrah.. main idhar hoon.. :) sab set.. bas thori si bizi aaj kal.. How u doin..?
I think you're talking about Vaseline the brand.. which has quite some products.. some lotions (body and hand), body butter and petroleum jelly thing (thick gooey thing..) for example..
Personally I think the jelly one is the best..! No more dry skin with the jelly.. especially during winters when skin becomes even more dry sometimes..
@ NJGAL - being a former New Yorker and now living in Mass..... trust me.... this stuff has been my saving grace in this freaking cold miserable weather!!! Its such a relief to have healthy glowy skin even in the winter time!
@ Farrah - I actually asked my derm that same question and he told me that using the actual vaseline product is better than the lotion... because the petrolium jelly is in its purest form and able to deliver the fastest and best results as opposed to a diluted product (like the lotion). I was kinda apprehensive about using the gooey stuff as a moisturizer but its not that bad. I take showers at night and apply this all over right after I get out. A very tiny amount goes a long way. The absorption takes longer than a regular lotion ... but it DOES absorb into your skin. After using it for like 2 weeks, my skin was the softest its ever been and it was naturally glowing. Which is crazy since I live in north pole like weather conditions. lol
