Cheap flight tickets

Guys do you use any good websites?

Lets make this thread a one for links.

I could only come up with Expedia

Re: Cheap flight tickets

websites are just a just a tool but how smartly u use it is the key. i use several sites but use my wits/tricks to get the lowest fares.
**
i recently got a round-trip fare on Etihad Airways from Toronto to Bombay for $959 Canadian including ALL taxes. also, a round trip ticket on on Mumbai-Delhi-Varanasi on Kingfisher Airlines for just $130 Canadian inclusive of ALL taxes.**

Re: Cheap flight tickets

I go to Kayak first

Re: Cheap flight tickets

I usually head there first too. But lately I find going to orbitz as well, since not only does it give you cheaper (if only by a few dollars) tickets, but different itineraries as well.

I used hipmunk too, and besides it looking visually pretty, I found it annoying to make itineraries with.

Re: Cheap flight tickets

orbitzz
hotwire
kayak
cheap o air
priceline
cheapflights
travelocity

I like hotwire sometimes but they don't give you names until you are done booking but they do give you good deals.

Re: Cheap flight tickets

the cheapest ticket i ever purchased was from Houston to Dulles, paid 5$ only in taxes and used 25,000 air miles.

Re: Cheap flight tickets

^^ can u tell me of some CC that give air miles?

Re: Cheap flight tickets

i always use my own air miles.

sold mine to a travel agent once but was told later on that it was illegal :)

Re: Cheap flight tickets

http://www.jetradar.com is the only place I go to search flights now, after consistently finding them to find the best deals. They don’t ‘promote’ any particular airline, but are totally transparent, plus they include the extra fees and taxes that you know you have to pay but many other ‘comparison’ sites leave off. This is helpful, as you can make a fair assessment of which is the best price.

Re: Cheap flight tickets

for vacation packages i find nothing beats PRICELINE.COM but for just tickets its between expedia and Travelocity.

Hopefully that helps.

Re: Cheap flight tickets

priceline, groupon, travelzoo, hotwire, fly.com
