You have everything to make a delicious meal for one. Keep the change you can use it for train ticket for taht trip back to go to your ammi and get that DC back.
You don't need to use everything on that list. For example, the sweet corn can be used at a later point for stir-fry. As for the rest of the ingredients....you can use them as a marinade for the chicken thighs. And if you have any flour or breadcrumbs, the egg can be added to make a batter and you can fry the chicken.
Or lightly season the chicken thighs and sautee them in some oil. Remove the chicken...and then in the same pot (which contains the fat from the chicken)..you can use ingredients such as lemon, garlic, ginger, mirch, soy sauce to make a gravy. And then add the chicken back in again and simmer.
Oh muscat I ended up making chicken corn soup - didnt thicken it.
So I boiled the chicken in some water with garlic and some namak and mirch, then when it had boiled for a while I thought it would be super bland so I tasted it all sad but it was super tasty actually!
Anyway I added the sweetcorn and boiled some more and then I squeezed lemon in and added the soya sauce and I went out and bought some green chillies to cut in to it 5pence!
