Chatta work

Hi Guys,

I was just wondering if anyone know what “Chatta work” is i have seen a lot of designer using that work on wedding wears. If anyone know anything about what kind of work it is any info would be really helpful for my wedding dress. Thanks a lot really appreciate any help.

chatta as in tiny tiny designs all over the cloth that act as a space filler? or is it something else?

chatta is a sprinkle of any design on the whole fabric

the lady who made my dress called it "chan booti", as in to sprinkle a pattern all over as filler. so i guess its the same thing as chatta.

Chutta bolain na...little design on the shirt just to cover the empty areas...

chatta's such an old concept though. it's used on like everything, not just bridal stuff. and when i mean everything i mean everything. cushion covers, bed covers, shalwar kameez etc etc

chatta is just a sprinkle of 'KAAM' on ur shirt.tiny BOOTI work ect.
