I think you can contact some of the designers in the bazaar section and see if their tailors are willing to make it...but keep in mind that even if someone is willing to do...you can never really know if the know how to do it right...

yeah ill check that section. thats why i was wondering if anyone knows a good place for chata patti that is of this quality.

**I think that style is called 'mahee pusht' meaning like the scales of a fish on its back. That is very traditional work. Since you do not want to go to the upmarket expensive designers, I doubt that you can find a karigar who can make this as beautiful as the one you posted. **

i dont think tailors can do this .this is so classic .i agree with prototype tailor will start weeping . ye perfection bas nani aur dadi k hathon main he hoti thi and the love that they spent all their time making these for their bahus and daughters. i remember my dadi making this sort of gharara for my phuppo for her wedding and it took her almost a month to get it neatly done . looks simple it is not easy to achieve . even my mum got one for her bari it is so elegant after all these years . and i have my eyes on it for my marriage :D
