If you want CHAT to be un-dead, then put a bigger button for it on top of the page somewhere, so it’s more vivid and would make people click on it.

I think the new chat bar does a good job at attracting people's attention to chat. I've spoken to people there who hadn't been to chat in ages and I received positive feedback from all of them.
Anyway good suggestion, PCG. Azkar bhai can do this if he thinks its necessary.

I understand that but I meant that the new chat bar at the bottom of the page leads people to the actual chatroom too.
PCG, do you not see the chat bar? Should be at the bottom of your page. Change your status to online and you'll be able to private chat with individual people who are also showing up as online or you can join the chatroom wich can also be "popped out".

I'm using google chrome and that bar isn't always there when I log on. It comes and goes

It's working okay for me on Chrome. If someone else is having this problem too, could you please report here.
Jeea, try clearing all your internet cache and make sure everything is up to date. I'll get in touch with the techy lads in the mean time.

I've cleared all the internet cache and the chat bar is still coming and going. Any other suggestions Huma?
