I usually read chasht ki namaz on thursday. However, I think I read it wrong. What time does one usually read the chasht and how does one read the rakaats (i.e. 4 at once or 2 by 2)?
u shud read the rakaats 2 by 2 for nawafel....
some ppl think that shasht namaz is same as ishraaq....
others believe that its a separate prayer....
best time wud be a couple of hours before zuhr....

are u sure it is not 4 by 4. I remember someone telling me that. do u have a site i can goto for this?
except the fardh namaz, its preferable to pray by 2s....
ofcourse hanafi people pray sunnah as 4 rakaat but i think even they pray nafal prayer in multiples of 2....
P.S. avoid sites, try to rely more on authentic books....
