detailed press conference by DG ISPR… thx for being so detailed but i dont understand one thing. for 4 days our media and everyone was saying that india is behind it. why is our army so quiet about india? not a single word on indian involvement. either we have no proof or we are scared plus he also said that afghan govt is not responsible or involved either.

Because of your one track mind and unhealthy hatred of the military you are not willing to praise them even when they do something good.
This is great work by the army. Seldom have we seen terrorists being identified let alone brought to justice in this country.
Name and shame all the accomplices and their financiers and give them exemplary punishment. Terrorists need to be paid in the same coin.
Military can only do so much. The government needs to wake up and play it's part too. About time they took some serious steps towards reforming madrasahs and eliminating or at least minimising corruption and poverty in our society. We need to win the minds and hearts of those who are weak and easily persuaded to join their evil cause. All this starts with government policies and economic opportunities. This battle cannot be won with military might & best intelligence alone.

Charsadda attack: It is time to ask Pakistan Army some hard questions
Lets talk about Economic opportunities, so tell me how Govt can place in policies or execute them when they dont have control over about 30 percent of Budget, a soft coup is orcahsterated, a Dharana is organized with in 1 year of Govt, all from GHQ so How the hell Does GOVT do any thing.
Having said that , GOVT has done every thing humanely possible to help Army here, has conceded to every bloody demeand of clueless Generals, taking from people to buy more bloody F 16s, increased Salaries. PPP Govt, raised Salaries after Swat was lost, what ELSE does ARMY want? Wins hearts and minds by Orchestrating dharnas, Utter disrespect of People’s VOTE. How does Govt start policies when they are always Afraid of Games/Conspiracies made in GHQ against elected Govts, always snatching powers.
Its time to Grow up and call spade and spade and Ask Army Questions. No its not GOVT, No GOVT dont need to wake up, It is ARMY. They started this, they are responsible for this, they financed this, they are the culprits and they must be Punished. Start by Putting Generats to Jails and Hang few of them, Demote them, Jail them. Relax. If the Govt. did its’ job the past 60+ years, and kept their oaths to the public, and fulfilled the towering promises made through campaigns, then public support would have ensured no conspiracies take hold. The Govt. or lack thereof, comprising of conniving looters do not come into the office by the way of winning hearts and minds, but rather creating circumstances that bring about difficulty during governance, and ease just before elections so as to show for it as a ticket to ride the wave again.
Corruption is rife within the Govt, and the scandals to the fact are endless. The elected office bearers are doing no one any favors by performing 10% of their duty while offering excuses for the 90% slack. They deserve every bit of scrutiny the public can conjure up because that’s what being a office bearer is about; it should feel like a thankless job so only the most passionate take it, not those looking to become millionaires in half a decade.
Where’s the Govt. in rescuing people during natural calamities? Where’s the Govt in ensuring that people are provided their bare minimum essentials necessary to breathe the next breath, let alone live comfortably?
The current sand grain’s worth of progress is great, and should be appreciated. But it is by no means worthy of erecting pedestals for anyone within the Government of any province, period.
Armed forces are made up of sons and daughters of the ordinary people who vote for these people. Sometimes they don’t even vote for the people, but their votes are cast regardless because that’s a certain unique kind of miraculous democracy that’s been sold to Pakistani masses.
As far as the attack is concerned, the blame lies on all institutions. On the governments of the past and present for not regulating educational institutions and supervising curriculum, and on the armed forces for becoming party to negotiations between corrupt party leaders in the name of reconciliation. The biggest fault lies with the politicians because when they take the job, they need to realize the responsibility that comes with it. We have yet to hear about one minister who resigned over poor performance, let alone for countless murders under their watch. Respect is supposed to be earned.
If accountability is to happen, it needs to be equal and across the board. But who’s going to punish the undertaker? The setup needs a shakeup and better candidates in place to ensure they’re eligible to give out rulings and themselves don’t have skeletons in the closet.

Asolutely false premise! Not sure if you are raised in Pakistan or how much do you know of Pakistan history. There has been no 60+ years of Govt period! Pakistan has its first martial law with in few years of existence by so called Officer class who saw every one else as low life and Bloody. I come from a two generation military family. I am a Omelete kid myself, I have seen the prejudice so NO Civilian Govt ever got a chance. 37 plus years has been direct military rule, other 30 years in direct. They never allowed any one to do any thing.
Corruption in Govt, yes it is, so as corruption in other institutes but what about mega Corruption of Army? DHA plots, Bakeries, land snatching, Losing Every war and not even a single Court martial, isnt that Corruption, if not financial than moral. What about genocides in Bangladesh, what about operation search light. I am a Jutt Punjabi, I grew up hearing all the crap that why Army officer class should be only for certain Baradries. What about that corruption.
Here in Illinois so far I have close to 15 students going to expensive liberal arts colleges all sons/daughters of higher ranked officers, how are they affording their childern here? Dare I say corruption. So yes Govt has corruption so does military but problem is that Military has Guns, money, influence so Every wrong in country is because of Politicians and every good Army and this is the menace that has raised these snakes. Wrong policies. wrong directions, wrong security crap. No Civilian Govt is involved in Creating Taliban but Army so it is their mess.
So no there is nothing to Relax. Army is running a propaganda machinery. This machinery destroyed Pakistan, half of the country was lost, another Province was almost gone until a Civilian government run by nationalists came in to power and things are mending. It will be a Gross dishonesty on my part and our part if we dont become Honest.

As for Where is Govt to resecue people in Clamities, well for that Army is there, they get 30% of budget so if they save people in disasters they are not dong any favors, they are doing Their Job and this is my biggest PROBLEM lately! We are praising army for doing its basic Job? We are saying Thank you Raheel for doing his job for which they have cleaned national treasury.
Finally about sons and daughters of regular people, yes they are but most of them dont become Generals. If you understand army culture, a great majority of higher ranks are from small class.
My point is that its enough of maligining Politicians and Governments but Buck stops with the ones Controlling every thing and they need to man up or We need to make them Man up to their Failures.

The equation is pretty basic, and not very hard to grasp for the willing candidate. Work Honestly=Earn Trust. Politicians have earned themselves a bad reputation due to their shenanigans, lack of performance, passion for corruption, lack of self-accountability, and most crucial of all an extreme lack of oversight because they are running a gambit in the Parliament because their brethren in the opposition are ready to stroke their backs in return for the same come crunch time.
You may be from a family of all Army personnel, that's besides the point. I have no family in the army, but everyone of my family is a part of the public and they all say that politicians have brought this country to where it is today because of their greed, and lack of actual work during their tenure.
The onus of performance is on the politicians because the Army General does not go to public to ask for vote like you pointed out, it is the politician who goes to public promising a faithful oath to serve them. So indeed, it is the politicians who are to be held accountable first and foremost because they're there to serve the people directly.
Your expectation from Army is that of the Politicians, and vice versa; hold your representatives accountable and make the threat of voting against them a true fact till they perform or the unfortunate policies that favor others before public will continue, the tragedies of innocent people dying will continue, and the boogeyman in khaki uniform will remain a favorite universal villain among the slackers within politics and their benefactor cohorts in the public who become a party to the corruption trickle-down.

This country came into being and a general start planning on how to be at the top seat. Our army top brass never allowed politicians to grow up and allowed public to vote on performance. Most of the army intelligence was busy collecting proofs of wrong doing by our politicians . Using these to black mail and create fight among politicians. Never let them settled as if they themself r Farishtas from jannah.
After coming into power they write controlled history ...
Further they get so much haddi by usa every time they come into power because they r most paalto though now our politicians are giving equal competition in kissing the feats.

Could not have said it better myself! Excellent summary. Look at just one Data point. For first time in Pak History an elected Govt completed its term. PPP was pathetic in its Governance and see what People did to it, they thrashed the party to graveyard. The power and beauty of peoples choice. Another data point is q league Govt in 2008, didnt perform well and people finished them off. This is a process and this process was never allowed to move and hence my point is that NO GOVT is not blame here, its Generals and they must be held accountable. Few jails, couple hangings of Generals will go long way but who will do it, who will fight the Terrorist state with in state of Pakistan that is the Army. Western world has lost confidence in army and its lies. Today Obama is asking again. They are not idiots, they know the head of Snake is in GHQ. I hope people of Pakistan can see that too. Corruption is the main menace, until you eliminate it you cannot prosper no matter how many cpec or other things you do or make. Politicians, as well as these Generals are all corrupt and in it together, only the frontline troops end up sacrificing and defending against terrorists and criminals.
while these rich politicians and generals all live luxury lives, travel and live in UK, USA, with their families and protocols and unrestricted money from taxpayer of Pakistan. And they dare not say who's the real enemy waging proxy wars.
They keep saying "we know who did this" but then refuse to name them, or their facilitators. Only showing couple of people but not going to the root cause of the problem, fixing economy and giving the men some jobs so they don't become extremist or criminals due to having no money to feed families or themselves is the big factor. Give them good jobs and skills and they won't be doing bad stuff. When u got looters taking money abroad and moving their kids and khandaans abroad and living luxury while ordinary folks struggle for food, shelter, medicine, health, drinking water, you don't need enemies from abroad.
