I seen it last week.
It wasn't as good as I thought it would be.
Johnny Depp looks weird with all that make up on.
I wouldn't really recommend going to see it, it was a big letdown, maybe because i was expecting it to be really good.

Saw it the other day. Johnny Depp was absolutely, fantansticly brilliant as Willy Wonka. I didnt ever think Johnny could do a better role than Edward Scissorhands, but Charlie and The Chocolate factory really proves what an amazing actor this man really is. Not to mention he is gorgeously gorgeous. :love: The wit and intelligence of his character were brilliant, exactly like the book and Depp made him funnier, more lovable.
The Umpa Lumpa’s were F’ing brilliant. Every song they sang was hilareous. The ending was slightly different than the original in the book, but it was still wicked.

At last I watched it. What can I say, it's meant for children and thus a bit cheesy. But umpa lumpas and the songs were funny. Johnny Depp was good (never been a fan), the kid was adequate, humor was fine. It did leave me craving for a huge dose of chocolate though.

We watched it too. The kids like this new one better than the old one. But I like the songs better from the first movie with Gene Wilder.
But is was still good and interesting. They did a good job, it was still original and different from the first movie.
Yes, Johnny Depp is a gifted actor, we always yell Captain Jack Sparrow whenever we see him, no matter what movie.
