ahh well as long as they are giving charity..its all good.
Whtever their reason , its resulting in aid to the poor so its all good.

Observed many Pakistani politicians distributing aid goods and getting photo session. It seems if media refuses to give coverage to their distribution ceremony, they won’t bother to distribute anything.

There was a time (and may be it still continues), when newspaper pages were full of pictures of Mrs Minister or Mrs industrialist giving sewing machine to poor ladies.

Is this with our society that want to publicize charity (in other words they do charity for publicity) or other cultures are also affected with these stunts?

So IMO Charity too should be giving secretly,regardless of what it is, takay lene ko sharminda na houna pare.

chhupaa ke denaa afzal hai magar khule aam koii de to buraa bhii nahiiN aur sawaab meN bhii kamii nahiiN hogii par masnoon Islamii tareeqa yehii hai k ek haath de dusre haath ko Khabar na ho.

In Islam,and even in Bible,it’s said that when you do a good deed don’t show off,If you do you won’t get a reward For it.

Kin with 2z I guessed you would state that. Since you had quoted a verse in Hindi earlier stating same along with Khaan.

OK you may not get reward. But other person still benefits hai ki nahin? I agree ideally one should not show off. But given choice between not helping vs helping AND showing off I would humbly chhose latter.

But I get ur point. May you continue to be a good Muslim and help others anonymously, Inshallah!

I know what you mean,its same like someone is giving charity from haram Ki kamaii,they won’t get reward for it but other person will get benefit ,
Depends on someones niyaat.we really can’t judge someone,sometimes it’s hard to judge our self,like why I did that? For me? For Allah SWT or for showing off?
