Yes agree that we should move on, but till date future hope is still limited to mere slogans. People need plans supported by actions and not just slogans after slogans.
why do we keep asking for actions from one party only? its not like they are governing already. With time everything shall fall in place.
When you create hope that I'll do this and that.. ppl will definitely ask you how. And if you still keep on repeating that I'll do this and that without answering how, then people have no options, but to ignore you. This is the time for IK to answer how?
I think its fair comparing IK with local bread of politicians and its too early comparing him with legends...let him serve first...and then we shall see where he stands...

Exactly!
Lets just take him as a sincere leader who wants to do something good and something new for the country.
Lets see if he can deliver or not! Only time will tell, but he deserves a chance!
They travel the same roads, buy CNG from the same petrol stations, need gas or petrol for their generators to overcome load shedding, need security guards to protect their houses.
They are not sitting somewhere in Stockholm and planning from there.
IF, and I say IF, establishment is supporting IK, thats a bonus. We do not need that to come to power however. It is people who decide, and take any survey to see what people in Pakistan want...
ZAB was a die hard supporter of Ayub Khan and used to call him “dady”.
I used to like NS for a while. But does that mean, because I used to like one leader, I MUST keep doing that whole my life? No matter what he is doing?
Today I like IK policies, and I hope he will deliver at least 25% of what he says.
If not, he will lose my and millions of other Pakistani’s support. Simple as that.
Yes People were exited. Even today people discussed yesterday’s jalsa all the time. Two of my colleagues (to whom I gave lift in the evening) kept on discussing jalsa all the way and the debate was quite heated because one of them was pakka Jamaiti and the other from upper Sindh (who went into Jalsa yesterday) supported IK. Jamati supporter asked the PTI supporter: will he vote for IK and ask his family to vote? The reply was its too early for myself to decide, but I can’t force my family.
The next question was: If IK comes into the power then will mobile snatching in Karachi be stopped.
Before the other guy could reply, I questioned: If Munawwar Hussain comes into power then will mobile snatching in Karachi be stopped.
He replied: InshaAllah, Adl ki hukoomat main aisa hi hoga.
I replied: Then Insha Allah. Insaaf ki hukoomat main bhi aisa ho hoga.
The guy who went into the jalsa said there were around 350,000 people at Jalsa and he remained there from 1:00 pm to 10 pm and it was the first jalsa he attended ever. He even argued properly when our jamati colleague objected about the late start of the jalsa.
Anyway, people have developed some good hopes from IK and he can realise those hopes at polling stations, if he satisfies the people how is going to achieve things.
^^ And most important of all, the culture of non-violent politics !!!
IK is a real trend setter, be it use of modern technology, entertainment, Milli Naghmas, showing Quaid-e-Azam and Iqbal's vision, national anthem... display of our national flag and so on ...
And I love the fact that now all political parties are arranging Jalsas in the country and we see something that has been missing from our politics for many years.

Sorry, Obama was the true tech trend setter! :p
PS I am scared of how much IK is being obamanized. I have people in my family who support him as well, but I guess that PPP has the work cut out for him for setting the bar so low with gas loadshedding, electricity problems and agencies like railway, steel mill , pia totally screwed up, since Pakistanis are very finicky and have a short term memory of why they supported someone in power.
