Although the effort deserves appreciation, i think it's too little too late.
Democrats want to keep Bush around because as long as he is seen as the President, they will score points and ride the high tide of Anti-War/Mal-Economy, etc. at the expense of GOP and specifically McCain who has trouble distancing himself from Bush. Dems. want to keep people thinking Bush and GOP are a reflection of each other, even if it may not necessarily be true.
It seems the CIA report was available for all of the Congressmen to read but only 18 read it........and still all 18 voted for the War!..............:(
