Yup vaseline. I apply lots of it to my lips before sleeping. It does wonders.

Vaseline only will make them dry, it coats the lips with a film but doesnot get absorbed and moisture.
The best thing is to rub honey on your lips, it works wonders.

Adra my lips got really chapped a few weeks ago after a bad cold. I used petroleum jelly and I'm all healed now. All the cracks are gone. Smooth as ever. Just a thin layer.
I've used honey, and someone suggested glycerin as well. Both worked great too.

Nothing beats lashings of Vaseline. Use routinely over a few days and your lips will be soft and supple again.
Also, it is important to ensure that you drinking lots of water and liquids to stop lips from chapping and cracking.

I have a Sephora brand lipstick. It's really good. I did not need chap stick since I started using it for past 2 yrs. My lipstick is that good!
Exfoliate u're lips, I love Body Shop's "lip-scuff" and use a good lipbalm.. caramex, blistex, Body Shop's Mango Lip Butter is my fav :)

i love ‘smiths rosebud salve’ available at sephora ($6), if i need to heal really chapped lips, this does the job in minutes. no icky stickiness or residue and smells heavenly!

Vaseline makes my lips soft at first but then they just feel shriveled afterwards
