Here you go. Got it from website but looks delicious.
Ingredients:
- Chana (Kabuli chana) – 1 1/4th cup
- Chopped Onion – 1 /2 cup
- Tomato – 1/4th cup chopped
- Ginger paste – 2tsp
- Garlic paste – 2tsp
- Cumin – 1/4th tsp
- Cumin Powder – 2tsp
- Coriander Powder – 2tsp
- Turmeric Powder – 2pinchs
- Garam Masala – 2 pinchs
- Red chilli powder – 1/4th tsp
- Salt – To taste
- Oil – 3tsp

Soak chana in water about 6-8hrs.
Cook the chana with a pinch turmeric and salt in the cooker. Allow it to whistle thrice.
Heat oil in a kadhai or pan add cumin (JEERA) , when cumin being to splutter.
Add onion and fry it on medium flame.
Put Ginger paste, Garlic and all powder and fry till it begin to golden colour on medium flame.
Add tomato and fry it, now put boiled chana ,1cup water and boil it for 5-8minutes.

ACtually that dark coloured channa is relatively simple to cook. You just need the boiled small chicked peas.warm oil and Put chick peas in along with water. Add salt red chili, a pinch of soda, and let it cook for long on slow heat. Mash some channas when they are soft to thicken the sauce. Ideally grind a little quantity and add back. Your sauce will be ready. Its simple but the essence is soda.
