I heard that eating too much of chaana daal (yellow one) weakens you eye sight … is it true ???

It could be other way around, the person has weak eyesight and keeps buying 'yellow' colored channa daal, thinking it is a different daal..?

I don't know about chana daal, but masoor daal does affect your eyes from what I've heard. But masoor daal affects eyes because of the strong garlic taste- it causes eye irritation/burning/more pressure. That's why when it's cooked, milk or rice is added so it's easier on the eyes. Don't know about weakened eyesight.

on the subject,,, why you wanna eat any thing tooooo much....
switch b/w veggies lentils and meat time too time. there are alot of choices.
i HATE channa daal … i go on hunger strike wen its cooked … its actually my sis who LOVES IT and cooks almost every second day
