I've never personally seen these Bollywood movies. But I think in a general sense, sex sells. I think the world is becoming smaller. As Indian audiences are exposed to more Western films their tastes change. So movie makers are constantly changing their approach in trying to get more viewers, more hype and sensationalism. I've noticed in the last few years that India has placed great emphasis on modelling, fashion and beauty pageants (as well as film). With all the Miss Universe, or Miss India, Miss Femina, whatever it is, the whole culture is leaning towards the beauty industry.
