Well reactions are part of change and growth. We even react when we grow taller or fatter and we don’t fit into our jeans anymore. So I guess people getting confused or concerned is only natural with the recent changes on GS.
However, being spiteful is not a good thing. :no:

Almost all the mods transitioned over to the new team. Whole team was picked after hours and hours of Conf. Calls between Azkar, Muzna, X2 and I.
At the end, for the records, I take full responsibility of all the mods and CMs that were picked.
**Qualification **was the 4rth criteria that I looked for ..
first was Trust, then Responsible attitude as a guppy, then *willingness to learn *(i.e. submit to the written policies of GS)
Majority of the team that I picked, I have trust that when I send them one PM and ask them not to do certain thing, they will listen and will not argue on how right they are, they will not send me links of past threads to prove their innocence or how evil the other party is, they will not challenge my position.
In an organizational setup, Trust, Responsibility and Teachability are more important than qualifications ..
If Qualification was important, then we would be looking for a professional photographer for Image section and a Mufti for religious section

When I say Trust CE, I meant exactly that, trust not as much in their human skills (cause I am no expert in that) but the fact that they will not betray me or stab me in the times of crisis, that they will not go out and badmouth their own team, that even they wont agree with everything, at the end they will go with the decision taken by Management team.
And Trust is mutual, I trust them as much as they Trust me ..
Do you know that we have people in this current Mod team who dont see each other eye to eye, so if this is the impression that I opened a mutual friendship club then that is not true.

No you are right in a way, but your definition is just one part of how I would define my trust on my mods
any one who thinks positive > will present nice thoughts (they could be bitter as well) > and will be with u if ur rational.
…and in online world u can judge anyone ones trust on the way they write. 
ps. on gs no one is formal enough to hide their expression.

so how about if they go around and bad mouth other guppies, betray other guppies trust, then it's ok i take it, as long as they make you happy and dont brake your trust....

i knw not all members of a team get along, and understand you need a balance of personalities and skills for tht team to work, but what happens when ur team over steps the mark?

There is a simple answer....when a team member oversteps the mark, they are reprimanded and the correct measures are taken to fix the imbalance.

Rest assured that if any member of this admin team is breaking policy or not keeping up the image to which we all expect them to subscribe, they will be answerable to us.
Know also that there are methods to management and rules that govern our team. I don't know you too well but you appear intelligent enough to understand the concept of discipline and can probably predict that you will not be privy to all that takes place behind closed doors.
During my tenure as Director of GupShup disagreements occurred....but no moderator was publicly reprimanded. That was not my style. That doesn't mean that I didn't take corrective action.
I don't know how TLK prefers to manage his team and will not interfere but he has been chosen for this position due to his ability to lead. I have complete trust in his abilities and urge you to do the same.

there are policies in place. Modship is not just an authority, its a responsibility and Mods, Admins & Directcor, all are accountable to their actions and words

yeah i understand what ur saying…but certain people are still going around and opening up indirect threads to get my attention. i can play them at their own game, but would tht be right of me. no. it wouldnt. and it would show how very sad i am not to get over some petty fight.
my point is if it was dealt with in the first place, why is it still going on and why are threads still being opened…

CE, don’t assume that threads are indirect or targetted towards you. I say the sooner you get over any past negativities, the more you’ll enjoy it here. Hey, we’ve all been through our share of disagreements, backbiting, fights, etc. It’s part of human nature. Focus on the good things. And open some nice new threads like you always do.

This is clearly a dictatorship where no one should "challenge your authority/position". That's a very sorry attitude and has brought entire nations down. The way GS works is friends of friends are appointed for positions no matter how lame these people may be. Not all mods are useless, I actually appreciate many but some of the recent "team" are just a sad joke.
You people cannot stand anyone who questions anything and you all reply to any questions asked in the same old, unsatisfactory manner where you pose to be the "all knowers" -- like you have already thought of it all and that the only way to make GS better is through your personal think tank. Sorry to break it to you but there are smarter people on GS than some of you who have better ideas that you all are so obviously threatened to accept.
Anyway, that was just my stance on it. I am entitled to it and although I completely disagree with the "management" on this so-called free site, I can be civilized about it.
