So im 6 months now Alhumdullilah. I am currently doing my shopping now and im in a dilemma!
We dont know the babys sex as its going to be a surprise inshallah - i have chosen a neutral coloured pram!
But what type of changebag should i buy? What colour? I am thinking of buying a beaded bag from Accessorize as they are spacious, big and beautiful. But then i think what if i have a boy - that would be too girly no?
Your opinions?
Re: Change Bags/Nappy bags!
I feel that the bag should match the taste of the mother since she is the one who has to carry it mostly.or you can always buy a yellow, purple, green or an offwhite one.
Re: Change Bags/Nappy bags!
So if i like beaded bags and i find a dark purple one which is big enough - that would be ok? If its a girl inshallah, that would be super cool but if its a boy inshallah, would that be ok too?
Re: Change Bags/Nappy bags!
I don't think it's a big deal. Do you know if your future baby's pediatrician will provide diaper bags..etc? I had gotten 1 expensive and 1 pretty nice diaper bag in my baby shower....however as it turns out, my son's pediatrician provided us with Enfamil samples and Enfamil Diaper bag. It was just so convenient to use & lightweight with right amount of pockets....I hardly ever used the diaper bags I received as gifts. And anytime the Enfamil diaper bag broke, the pediatrician just gave a new bag full of milk samples.
In any case, make sure it is something you are able to easily tote around, and has enough pockets/space for bottles, milk container if needed, nappies, clothes(1 outfit), changing sheet. I recommend disposable changing sheets when your out & about. They are awesome & pretty cheap. If an accident happens u simply throw away as opposed to having to clean the vinyl changing sheet....say if your in a park....
Re: Change Bags/Nappy bags!
ooh & sorry maybe it is off topic, but this “bookbag”/backpack my hubby had worked out really well for use as a diaper bag on walking/hiking trips…etc…out in the city cuz u can easily wear the bag…pretty neat…esp if the bag has 2 big side pockets where u can fit the bottle.
