I'm looking to steer away from my MAC foundation because it's quite heavy, and I'm tempted to try one of the Chanel ones. I like the way MAC photographs; does Chanel photograph well too?

Just select the one for your skin type; dry, oily or combo. And also the look you want! I have combo/oily skin but i still never go for the powdery look :nono:.

I also have the same skin type. My skin is quite acne-prone too, so that's why I'm looking to move away from MAC. And yes, I despise the caked/powdery look...I'm looking for a flawless/glowy, yet natural finish (nothing too shiny). Which do you use, Aqua Lumiere?

Ok…so today was Chane day for me. I bought the following;
**Hydramax+ Active Gel Cream **… i have oily skin (esp in summers) but the lady at the counter said this should be ok, keeping the skin hydrated yet not oily.
**Gommage Microperle Hydration Gentle Polishing Gel **… i am gonna get this exchanged because i mistook this one for the eclat one they have! 
**The Inimitable Mascara **… couldn’t resist

**The Liquid Eye liner
Eclat Lumiere Highlighting Face Pen** … i am kinda obsessed with it. lol
… So yah i am happy, yay! but i really wanted this mousse douceur cleanser but its not available here :halo:.

^ ok so they didnt have the eclat one so i m keeping the one i bought! hope its good, the chanel girl said it is so i m taking her word since she seemed to know her stuff.
anyways, i tried the illusion d’ombre and its just gorgeous

…but since im such an anari when it comes 2 makeup i dnt think i shud buy it cuz it wud go 2 waste or i’ll end up using it in some art work-lol. I also tried their lipstick 10 and it was a veryyyyyyyyyyyy nice color.
I think i better stop stopping by chanel counter or we’ll go backcorrupt sigh :(.

LOL Zareen! Which Id’O did you try? I just got Ebloui and LOVE it. I need Epetant and Mirifique next. Also, there’s another color called Riviére which is green and absolutely gorgeous but it’s an Asia exclusive. -_-
