Chanel mademoiselle or Chanel 5?

What do you guys think? Which perfume is better? Gifting it to a friend who is a channel girl and I’ve seen a couple channels perfumes on her dressing table so thinking of getting her one this birthday :slight_smile: thanks

Chanel Noir is the newest perfume--a blend of Coco and Coco Mademoiselle.

If the recipient is under 35 then Coco Mademoiselle (spunky) would be a better choice. Chanel 5 (dark, mysterious) is definitely more sophisticated and an acquired taste in my opinion...

I quite like Coco Mademoiselle and prefer it over Chanel No. 5. I find Coco Mademoiselle to be more youthful and think it can be worn on more occasions (even on an everyday basis). Chanel No. 5 is more sophisticated and not as versatile (in my opinion). I agree with BlushingRose that it is an acquired taste.

Chanel Chance is also quite nice.
