Chandi--

Ok so i’ve got this really antique looking jewlery set made of silver (from my mama’s good ol’ times) say about 40 years old.

And then I have this liquid solution which is supposed to shine up old silver like brand new.

So I dipped the necklace in and it did wonders. :k:

Then I dipped the ring in — but it went black!! (I guess maybe b/c it isnt pure silver?)

Does anyone know how to shine up silver thru a home made solution or something b/c Eid is coming up in a couple of days and I’ve gotta match this with my outfit!

Help.

I think rubbing lemon works. Or maybe that’s for brass :bummer:

we used to rub dentonic powder for all my silver jewellery back in karachi..it works..sometimes colgate toothpaste works..

i think chalk powder works too..but i am not sure about that one.

i have no clue but heres a hug

Toothpaste always works. It's only temporary though, so go ahead and try it the same day you're planning to use it. Do remember to not use a gel toothpaste though 'cause you'll just be wasting your time.

toothpaste works wonders

I am phychic :)
