What were the "biased bjp jury" biased against ?
Because when I read the interview of one of the other member of the jury (who protested), he said that he was not against Raveena Tandon being given the award but rather the way in which the jury chose among the nominies.
So I seriously want to know whether there was a bias agianst Tabu, because this is the first time I heard this. Maybe you can tell us why you think there was a bias against her in particular and not any of the other nominies. And dont give me your usual communal, bigotted BS and say that "because she was a Muslim". Give me some genuine reason.

now comming back to my statement well its not me but all the juries who disagreed with the awards that said that its the safronisation of national awards. now what do they meant by safronisation? tell me

I havent watched either movie so I cant comment on who is better. If you ask me if I think Tabu is a good actress then I’ll say that yes she is. As far as jury being anti-Muslim is concerned then I have just about had enough of your communal BS. You have turned every discussion into a communal one around here. When the Congress is in power they have their own members in the jury…same with the Janata Dal. So should the BJP have the right to have their own members in the jury ? You first answer that. The jury has mostly been filled with communist scumbags over the years. First of all I dont understand why do we even allow these anti-national communist scums in our institutions. They have no place in India.
They have even influenced our textbook syllabus where they do not teach students about the brutalities of emperors like Aurangazeb. They donot have more than one line on Jinnah’s Direct Action day and the killings in Calcutta. I have cousins who are in school right now and even now their history textbooks are pathetic. You can verify it if you have any friends / relatives in school.
Anyway forget about the textbooks – yeh log kabhi nahi sudharege. As far as the awards are concerned, sure they may have been rigged – I sometimes feel that even the Filmfare awards are rigged. But dont give me any BS about an anti-Muslim bias, or the next time a Muslim does well in show-biz then I can site an anti-Hindu bias.
seen the movie…it is pretty good…Tabu acted well as alwayz…movie wasn’t as powerful as i had expected it to be though (the storyline)…definitly worth watchin on video
I did find it very moving. Just saw it last night and was very disturbed, the story told here is happening every day all over the world..which made me incredibly sad as well as thankful for my life.
Tabu did a beautiful job as did the other characters. I read a review on IMDB who said to pay attention to the songs and lighting/color used for certain scenes…very well done.
I have also now increased my desi vocabulary and know the words for pimp..yippy
