Chanderpaul is a much under-rated batsman. I am glad that Wisden has named him as one of the five cricketers of the year 2007. His stance might be ugly but he is mighty effective in both forms of the game.

Amazing, just amazing. This is called stealing victory from the jaws of defeat. What a player, what nerves of steel. He has the most peculiar stance, which actually makes it very exciting to watch him play. Cricinfo's indian commentators immediately recalled Javed's sharjah six, and indeed this was very similar.
